A visionary educationist and passionate social reformer, Dr. Satwinder Singh Sandhu founded the Shivalik Primary School Society in 2000 with a single mission — to provide accessible, affordable, and quality education to children in rural areas. With over two decades of dedication to empowering youth through knowledge, he has played a pivotal role in expanding the society’s initiatives from a primary school to a network of schools, colleges, and technical institutes across Punjab.
Under his leadership, the society has touched the lives of thousands of students, offering them modern education, vocational skills, and lifelong learning opportunities. Dr. Sandhu is admired for his unwavering commitment, grassroots approach, and belief in social upliftment through education.
To provide quality, inclusive, and affordable education to students in rural and underprivileged areas. We aim to empower youth with knowledge, values, and practical skills, enabling them to lead successful lives. Our mission is deeply rooted in social responsibility and nation-building through education and skill development.
We envision a society where every child, regardless of background, has access to world-class education. Our goal is to build confident, capable, and responsible individuals through modern learning environments that blend tradition with innovation, promoting lifelong learning, self-reliance, and community upliftment.
Since 2000, we’ve expanded from a primary school to a group of institutions offering B.Ed, ETT, Degree College, ITI, Technical Institute, and International School. In 2024–25, we launched free skill-based and distance education programs under PMKVY, Vishwakarma Yojana, and GNDU, impacting thousands of rural students.
